Thanks to Melton Design Group of Chico for this amazing video. Showcased in the full spectrum of colors possible, it illustrates how this art installation is capable of displaying any color combination, for any occasion; RWB for Independence Day, RGW for Christmas; BG for Earth Day. Oh...and we can't wait for the lights shows!! Enjoy.

Energy efficient LED. Individual Nodes will be used on the largest part of the installation. Other LED lights, such as floods or splash/wash lighting may be used where appropriate.
The exact amount will be determined by the success of the community fund raising and corporate/private sponsorships. The project is scalable; stands of nodes are available in 12, 18 or 24" on center. The more giving we are as a community, the more lights we can install.
Phase one will be a full-color programmable installation on the west side (facing down river) of the Table Mountain Bridge. It will be a full-color, programmable art installation capable of performance lighting (light shows). Late 2024 is the anticipated installation date.
Consideration must be made for the safety of motorist passing on the adjacent vehicular bridge. Lighting here may be static, or considerably less dynamic, than the west side. Phase two will follow Phase one as soon as funds will allow.
Our fundraising goal for Phase 1 is $500,000 which includes infrastructure for future phases of installation.
Yes, we are actively seeking grants as the opportunities become available. The SBF (Supplemental Benefits Fund) has awarded the project $100,000.00 to date, and the Oroville Arts Commission has awarded over $30k. However, the bulk of the funding for this project will come from the community at large.
This is a viable option and will be explored. However, electric costs for larger installations, such as the the Hoan, run less that $300 a month. Smaller installations, such as ours, less than $200.
Painting the bridge is not part of this campaign.
Though it sits well within the borders of the City of Oroville, ownership of the bridge belongs to the County of Butte.
